Google has released its Pixelbook, it is the thinnest, lightest laptop google ever made, at just 10.3mm and 1.1 kilograms. It can be either used as a laptop, fold the keyboard underneath, in tablet mode, or into tent mode.
It comes with 12.3-inch high-resolution touchscreen display brings you vibrant colors and enough brightness to use outside, even on a sunny day. The keyboard comes with a backlit design. Pixelbook uses Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and upto 16GB of RAM and upto 512GB of storage.
Google Promises upto 10 hours of battery life and also claims upto 2hrs of usage in 15mins of charging, Google claims that battery supports fast charge through USB-C.
Google has co-developed a smart pen with the stylus game – Wacom. The Pixelbook Pen has a latency of just 10 milliseconds, 60 degrees of angular awareness and 2,000 levels of pressure sensitivity.
additionally it features Instant Tether – if you own a Pixel smartphone and lose your Wi-Fi signal the Google Pixelbook will automatically connect to your phone’s mobile data – no setup required.
The Google Pixelbook starts at $999 and can be pre-ordered from today. Shipments begin October 31. The Pixelbook Pen can be purchased at $99.
