OnePlus has released its flagship OnePlus 5 in June for 2017 and now the company took stage to announce the OnePlus 5T. OnePlus 5T brings 18:9 display and advanced camera features comparing to onePlus 5. OnePlus had to move the fingerprint sensor from below the display to the backside to make the display as 18:9.
OnePlus 5T is powered by Snapdragon 835 processor (same as the OnePlus 5) with 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage or 8GB RAM/ 128GB internal storage.
OnePlus 5T will be lighten by 3,300mAh battery.
Phone runs on company’s OxygenOS on top of Android Nougat 7.1.1 , Oreo will come to the phone in beta on late December with a finished version coming in early 2018.
OnePlus 5T comes with Dual rear cameras 16MP and 20MP sensors. The difference between both phones is that OnePlus removed the telephoto lens over the 20MP sensor and gave it a standard lens with an f1.7 aperture.
It comes with 3.5mm headphone jack.
OnePlus 5T will be available for purchase on its website from November 21 for customers in North America, Europe, and India. The phone will cost the about the same as what the 5 did when it launched. The 6GB/64GB variant will cost $499 US while the 8GB/128GB model will set you back $559 US. These are sold unlocked and will work on AT&T and T-Mobile.
In India 6GB/64GB variant will cost INR 32,999 and 8GB/128GB model will cost INR 37,999. In India Phone will be exclusively available at Amazon. Amazon prime customer will get INR 300 as a cashback and HDFC bank Debit and Credit card customer will get INR1500 instant discount.
