Moto X Pure Edition finally receives Android Nougat 7.0 update. Nougat was rolled out in September for Moto X Pure edition in US, but due to a bug that caused the phone’s screen to turn black after the upgrade, it was quickly pulled. Now after two months the roll-out has been resumed.

The update also brings September security patch to it. If you haven’t yet updated your Moto X Pure Edition, you can start tapping that Software Update button in settings, maybe you’re eligible for the upgrade. It may take couple of days to hit some devices as it will be rolled out in number of phases.
