LG has confirmed during July that LG Pay will be available to mid-range handsets in future. A recent report from South Korea has confirmed that the LG K10 (2018) will be the first mid-range device to come with LG Pay.
The LG mobile payments service was launched in June 2017. LG G6 was the first one to get it. Samsung Pay is currently something of a fan favourite in the mobile payments sphere because it doesn’t necessitate that stores are outfitted with specific NFC terminals (unlike Android Pay). Rather, it features the more traditional Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) solution, as well as NFC. LG, on the other hand, utilizes a Wireless Magnetic Communication (WMC) system, which is said to be equivalent to Samsung’s.
LG K10 (2018) is expected to announce in CES 2018.
