Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 was announced earlier this month and during the event Microsoft and Qualcomm announced “always-connected” Windows 10 notebook PCs with LTE support and with better battery for the entire day.

This is a new platform separate from the previous Windows RT releases, as these systems can seamlessly run x86-64 32-bit x86 apps, it clearly shows that in future there will be Snapdragon 845-powered Chromebooks. This also include “cheza” board powered by “chipset-qc845.” If this happen this will be the first time that a Qualcomm chipset is used to power a Chromebook. So, when using the Snapdragon processor, there will be no need to have any additional modem for LTE connection.
