Today apple has rolled out iOS 11.2.6 for all eligible iPhones in order to fix the dreadful issue that crashed several iPhones across the world. According to reports, a specific character in the Indian Telugu language sent over iMessage, or through the text field, could force the handset to reboot.


Previous reports suggests that Apple will fix this issue in the upcoming 11.3 version. However Apple has released the fix as iOS 11.2.6. Update for iPhone currently weighs around 32.1MB in size. The update also brings fix for an issue that was causing third-party apps to not connect with external accessories.


To check for update manually head to Settings-> General-> software update (Check for updates).
