Samsung has started to rollout March 2018 security to mid-range device, Galaxy A8 (2018). The March security patch fixes nine critical vulnerabilities that were discovered in the Android operating system aside from countless moderate-risk and high-risk vulnerabilities.
Samsung has also fixed five Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) that were discovered in its own software with this patch. The update carries the firmware version A530FXXU2ARB9. Currently the update is rolled out in global market and the update will be available to all devices in couple of days as the update will be rolled out in phased manner.
