HTC has announced two budget smartphones with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and running Android Oreo out of the box, HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+. HTC Desire 12 and Desire 12+ comes with the HD+ resolution when most of the manufactures are going with Full HD screens. Both the smartphones are already available for pre-order in the home country.

 HTC Desire 12+ Specifications:

  • Feature 5.99 inch IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 720×1440 pixel resolution
  • Powered by Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM
  • It packs 13MP + 2MP dual rear camera and 8MP selfie camera
  • Runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the Box
  • Fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side below the camera

 

HTC Desire 12+ will be available in Black and Silver colours. It will be available starting €235.

HTC Desire 12 Specifications:

  • Feature 5.5 inch IPS LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 720×1440 pixel resolution
  • Powered by MediaTek – 6739 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM
  • It packs 13MP rear camera and 5 MP selfie camera
  • Runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the Box
  • Fingerprint scanner is placed on the rear side below the camera

 

HTC Desire 12+ will be available in Black and Silver colours. It will be available starting €185.
