Samsung is set for another race with Apple to manufacture OLED displays. It has been rumored for some time now that Apple would be launching three new iPhone’s in September, two of which are expected to utilize OLED displays, just like last year’s iPhone X. As a result, Samsung, the company behind the OLED displays, will begin manufacturing them ahead of time.

However, the new production will not begin immediately. Instead, it’s expected to commence early next month. This is due to the fact that the two new devices, which are the iPhone Xs and Xs Plus and are respectively expected to feature 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch displays, are set to go on sale in late September.

There was also a rumor that LG might also manufacture OLED  displays ahead of Apple but they are yet to catch up with the high demands of iPhone in the market. Samsung has planned to come out with a display which will be in between both the iPhone models probably at 6.1 inch removing the physical home button.
